Abstract

1327784 Terminals WALTER PREH GmbH 12 Oct 1970 48447/70 Heading H2E A soldering terminal, mechanically attachable to a plate 1 supporting a layer resistor, comprises a soldering lug 3 integral with a resilient contact member 6 adapted to bear against a silvered surface 2 of the resistor. The contact member comprises an arm 6 with a protuberance 8 which bears against the surface 2, the terminal being attached to a tenon 7 extending from the resistor by securing clips 5, 5<SP>1</SP>. The lug 3 can be immersion soldered to a printed circuit. In another embodiment (Fig. 2, not shown) the clips 5, 5<SP>1</SP> are omitted and the terminal is attached by a twist lug (9) which is passed through an aperture (10) in the resistor and then twisted.
