Abstract

Refinements introduced into an electrical connector device for use in mounting an integrated circuit package without wiring on a printed circuit board, comprising a body of electrically insulating material bearing two rows of electrical terminals each providing a first point of contact for application to a contact in an integrated circuit package, and a second contact point for application to a conductor on a printed circuit board, characterized in that each terminal comprises first and second arm members (15 and 16), formed integrally, joined by a U-bridge (17), the first contact point (13) being on the outer surface of the first arm member (15), the second contact point (14) being on the outer surface of the second arm member (16), and the free end of the second arm member (16) being secured to the body (5) of the connector.
