Abstract

1327703 Heating or cooling premises; dampers B HUMBERT 19 April 1971 [11 March 1970 12 Jan 1971] 23474/71 Headings F4U and F4V Apparatus for either heating or cooling premises by circulating heated or cooled air in closed circuit through the walls and ceiling of the rooms of the premises, includes air inlet and outlet headers 5, 5<SP>1</SP> located at the base of the walls of the room, for passing air upwardly through a hollow wall of the room, across a space between the ceiling and a false ceiling and downwardly through a second hollow wall to the outlet header. Nozzles 6,6<SP>1</SP>, 7,7<SP>1</SP> provided in the headers, are equipped with regulatable blockage means, either manually or automatically (by means of a thermostat) operated. As shown, the nozzle 210 is provided with a shutter comprising rectangular plates parallel to each other, and having areas progressively increasing in size from a first plate 46 to a last plate 49 in the direction of air flow in the header 21.
