Abstract
The heat-exchange unit (1) has a centrally arranged vertical plate part (2) which is delimited at the top and at the bottom by in each case a pipe (3, 4) for a heat-exchange medium. Extending upwards and downwards from the pipes (3, 4) are vertical ribs (7, 8), the outermost ribs of which form the side walls of the heat-exchange unit. The front and rear sides of the heat-exchange unit are closed off by covering plates (18, 19) and, in the plate part (2), at least one receptacle (13, 14), delimited by the side walls and the covering plates (18, 19,) for a fan (25, 26) is provided, which fan generates an air flow which passes over both the sides of the plate part (2). A more effective heat transmission is achieved by the air flow on both sides. <IMAGE>
