1325176 Feeding confections to packaging machines OTTO HANSEL GmbH 5 Nov 1970 [10 Nov 1969] 52595/70 Heading B8C In a packaging machine, an endless conveyer or a pusher feeds a row of confections along a channel 4 and on to a table 1, the leading confection c being fed into a slot 6<SP>1</SP> in a distributer plate 5 and abutting a stop 12 on the table 1, the plate 5 is then moved to the left so that the next confection d is fed into a second slot 6 in the plate whilst the first slot 6<SP>1</SP> is aligned with a pusher 11<SP>1</SP> which pushes the confection c to the back of the slot, and the plate 5 is then moved to the right so as to place the confection c over a lifting jack 3 and to align the second slot 6 with a second pusher 11 which pushes the confection d to the back of the slot. In this position of the plate 5, a third confection e is fed into the first slot 6<SP>1</SP> so that, on leftward movement of the plate, the confection e is aligned with the pusher 11<SP>1</SP> whilst the confection d is placed over the lifting jack 3. A wrapper maybe placed on the confections when they are on the table 1, and a folding box positioned above the lifting jack 3, the wrapped confections being received by grippers 14.
