Abstract
1322409 Development ILFORD Ltd 12 Jan 1972 [8 Feb 1971] 4180/71 Heading G2C [Also in Division A print-out recording paper (coated with silver halide emulsion) which has been imagewise exposed to a high intensity light source is developed with an aqueous solution comprising a developer, alkali metal thiocyanate or thiosulphate, trisodium phosphate is an amount to produce a pH of 10À5- 11À5, and ethylene diamine in an amount of 5-25 gm per litre of solution. The developer may be ascorbic acid, iso-ascorbic acid, tetronic acid, or hydroquinone. The solution may also contain sodium sulphite (as preservative). Development may be of latensified or unlatensified paper. Development may be followed by fixing in aqueous thiosulphate solution and washing in dilute sodium sulphite solution.
