Abstract

1322047 Floor panels LISKEY ALUMINUM Inc 27 Nov 1970 [6 March 1970] 56594/ 70 Headings E1B and E1W A floor panel formed of plastics, aluminium or steel sheet has a substantially flat upper sheet 11 (omitted from Fig. 5) spot welded at positions x to a lower sheet 10 formed with radially extending channels 3 and to a cruciform, intersecting channel, centrally positioned reinforcing member 14 with arms extending in the direction of a respective channel. The upper plate may be covered with carpet or vinyl tiles 12 and the edge of the lower sheet may have an upturned periphery surrounding the edge of the upper sheet. A plastics edge strip may be clamped between the edges of the two plates. The panel may be mounted on pedestals or stringers of an elevated floor.
