Abstract

1296812 Laminates LISKEY ALUMINUM Inc 19 Jan 1970 [5 May 1969] 2434/70 Heading B5N [Also in Division E1] A square floor panel comprises opposed upper and lower metal sheets 6, 2; the lower sheet having peripheral flanges 8 spaced from a sandwiched core 4 of plywood, composition board or other compression-resistant material which is adhered to the metal sheets; the upper sheet being faced by a floor covering material 12, e.g. vinyl which is bordered by a flexible edge trim 10 which is clipped or clamped between the flanges 8 and the sides of the panel. The panels are supported at each corner only or along each edge. In a further embodiment a carpet floor covering is clamped over the edges of the upper sheet between the flanges and the panel sides.
