Abstract

1320534 Ventilation systems MESSIER and ENTREPRISE HENRI FAURE 12 Oct 1970 [10 Oct 1969] 48390/70 Heading F4V A ventilation system for a room containing a computer cabinet 2 comprises an air treatment plant 7 communicating through ducts 11, 16, respectively, with nozzles 12 in an apertured false ceiling 5 and with the space thereabove, and a unit 8 which recycles air in the room via the cabinet 2 and the space beneath a false floor 3. Each nozzle 12 includes a filter and parallel vanes inclined at an angle α to the ceiling 5. A layer of glass wool rests on the ceiling 5 and is raised by air flow through the ceiling apertures 15. The unit 8 which includes a filter 21 is positioned with the plant 7 in a space 9 which is sealed from the room by a partition 10. Alternatively, the unit 8 replaces one of the plates of a modular floor 3 within the room. A known device 17 regulates the pressure and/or supply of fresh air.
