1320143 Tubular heat exchange elements E GREEN & SON Ltd 22 June 1970 [20 June 1969] 31385/69 Heading F4S A finned heat exchange element intended as a sleeve to be assembled with other sleeves on a tube in, e.g., an economizer, comprises spacedapart transverse fins 10 separated by tubular body portions 12 of rhomboidal e.g. diamond, shape in cross-section, wherein in alternate spaces the body portions extend, in the direction of fluid flow over the fins, to the fin periphery, i.e. to points 14, 16, whilst in the intermediate spaces the body portions stop short of the fin periphery.
