Abstract
492,108. Gilled tubes for heat - exchangers. GREEN & SON, Ltd., E., and LIVSEY, H. April 22, 1937, No. 11514. [Class 64 (iii)] Economizers &c. are formed of rhomboid sectioned tubes provided with square or rectangular fins and disposed so that the fins of adjacent tubes touch or nearly touch. The tubes may be arranged in line or staggered formation. The tangent of the angle of inclination of the sides of the tubes with the horizontal is between 1À2 and 2À5. Specification 445,277 is referred to.
