Class 64(3) [Also in Group XXII] A tube for a heat exchanger has fins 2 cast directly on to the tube and positioned to provide spaces 3 between adjacent fins. Diametrically opposed longitudinal fins 4 may be cast in one piece with transverse fins or may be cast in several pieces. The transverse fins may take the form of a spiral. According to the Provisional Specification the fins may be shrunk on to the tube.
