1318080 Boxes METAL BOX CO Ltd 25 Aug 1971 [1 Sept 1970] 41804/70 Heading B8P A container is folded from a blank having an end flap 13 extending across the width of the blank at one end, the flap having longitudinal folds 15 alternating with Y-shaped folds 16 so that after the blank is folded into a sleeve the flap can be folded inwardly to close and end, the length A of the flap being slightly more than half of the maximum width of the sleeve. The blank may be folded so that fold lines 15 project either into or out of the container. There may be a loose platform in the container to support the end. The container may have 4, 6 or 8 sides or be of circular cross-section. The blank may be of paperboard laminated with paper or plastics film, or coated with plastics material. There may be a window in the container. The other end of the container may be similarly closed or have flaps 12.
