1316901 Particle spectrometers COMMISSARIAT A L'ENERGIE ATOMIQUE 20 April 1971 [20 April 1970] 10230/71 Heading H1D A particle spectrometer comprises a first plane electrode 10<SP>1</SP> provided with entry and exit orifices 14<SP>1</SP>, 16<SP>1</SP> for a beam 20<SP>1</SP> of charged particles, a second plane electrode 22 pierced by regularly spaced orifices 24 and a third electrode 26, there being a portential difference between the first and second electrodes tending to return the particles to the first electrode and a potential difference between the second and third electrodes which distorts the field between the first and second electrodes in the region adjacent the latter.
