Abstract
1310389 Steel AUGUST THYSSEN HUTTE A G 20 July 1970 [18 July 1969] 34579/70 Heading C7A Fully killed steel comprises, in % by wt.; and optionally Mo 0À1-1 the balance, apart from impurities such as residual amounts of Al, Ca, N, P, S and Ti, being Fe. The steel may be heated to above 1200‹C, for at least 30 mins and then cooled at at least 1‹C. /sec into the ferrite temperature range (e.g. during a hot rolling procedure). The steel is then preferably iso-thermally treated at 700-500‹C. for 10-90 mins or annealed for 1-30 mins.
