Abstract
1301685 Counters CROUZET 13 March 1970 [14 March 1969] 12105/70 Heading G4D Resetting mechanism in an electromechanical counter disengages an anchor operating directly on the lowest numeral wheel and operates heart cam mechanism. The casing is of standard dimensions for plugging into a rack. Energization and release of electromagnet 3 acts through armature 6 to oscillate an anchor 7 to act directly on a star-wheel fixed to the lowest numeral wheel 11. Resetting is effected by depressing lever 12 which is swung counterclockwise as its lower end depresses shaft 9, disengaging the transfer pinions from the numeral wheels and pressing them against a fixed spacer 2. The shaft 9 also displaces anchor 7 to an intermediate position at the same time as a projection 12e on the lever 12 drives the heart cams and therefore the numeral wheels to zero.
