1293106 Counters VEEDER INDUSTRIES Inc 13 July 1971 [22 July 1970] 32806/71 Heading G4D Depression of a resetting slide 60, Fig. 1, cams an electromagnetically-actuated verge 26 and clapper 24 axially out of engagement with a star-wheel 38, by pivoting it about its lower end 92, Fig. 6. The slide then cams transfer pinion shaft 52 to disengage the numeral wheels, and finally strikes a comb 70 to zeroize the counter by heart-cam action (also Fig. 3, not shown). The verge 26 and clapper 24 are as described in Specifications 1,248,021 and 1,273,511.
