Abstract

1307035 Connecting knobs to shafts VEEDER INDUSTRIES Inc 7 May 1971 [7 May 1970] 13714/71 Headings F2Q and F2U [Also in Divisions G4 and H1] An electromagnet 126 oscillates a verge 150 which steps a starwheel 48 through pawls 151, 152, so advancing a counter. The counter is manually adjusted by depressing knobs 68, Figs. 1 and 6, to free them from toothed stops on the casing and shift the counter wheel shafts axially so freeing the transfer mechanism. The teeth 75 on the knobs engage projections 94 on the hubs which can then be turned together with the numeral wheels by the knobs 68.
