Cars and cabins; planes, arrangement of. - The rear part 4 of the fuselage of an aeroplane or seaplane is hinged at 5 so that it may be folded against or within the main planes, as indicated in dotted lines. The fuselage is fixed in position by fish-plates, bolts, pins, &c. 6 at the side opposite the hinge.
