3203. Short, H. O. Feb. 27. Aerial machines without aerostats; cars and cabins; propelling.-An aeroplane with double fuselage has the motor 6 mounted on a separate frame between the fuselages. Front and real propellers 3, 7 may be employed, the fuselages being spaced apart sufficiently. Each fuselage is carried forward beyond the planes so as to support the crew free from engine vibration. Guns 9 may be mounted fore and aft of planes. The planes are continuous across the machine, or the side parts may be pivoted to fold back.
