146,375. Daimler-Motoren-Ges. Oct. 11, 1915, [Convention date]. Aeroplanes; cars, propelling; guns, disposition of.-An aeroplane is constructed with a central fuselage 12 connecting the supporting-planes 18 to the tail planes 19 and carrying one or more tractor screws 15, and with one or more shorter bodies 13, 14 arranged on each side of the central fuselage and fitted with pusher screws. Guns 20, 21 may be mounted at the front of the two short bodies approximately in the plane of the tractor screw on the central fuselage, and a, third gun 22 may be mounted on the central fuselage in the plane of the two pusher screws on the short bodies. The screws may be driven by separate engines in each body, or all the engines may be in the central fuselage. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes also an aeroplane having two long fuselages 2, 3, Fig. 1 (Cancelled), fitted with t-ractor screws 5, 6 and a central body 1 fitted with a pusher screw 4. Guns are mounted at 9, 10 and 11. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
