Abstract
1294496 Casting machines WOTANWERKE GmbH 29 June 1970 [15 April 1970] 31296/70 Addition to 1268006 Heading B3F [Also in Division F1] An hydraulic intensifier for increasing the hydraulic pressure in the working space 43 on one side of a moulding piston 42 near the end of its stroke comprises a stepped piston 52 which when fluid pressure is supplied through a line 55 and valve 54 to the larger face 53 thereof serves to seat at 64 a shoulder 56 of stepped piston portion 52b against a sleeve 62 and thus cuts off the low pressure supply through lines 46, 47 to the space 43; the pressure therein being intensified whilst pressure in an annular chamber 58 of the intensifier cylinder being connected to atmosphere.
