Abstract

1292257 Brake magnets JAIPUR METALS & ELECTRICALS Ltd 17 Aug 1971 38549/71 Heading H2A Fixed to a non-magnetic support frame 14 of a Watt-hour meter brake magnet are two identical parts 2, 4 between which is a gap 6 to receive a rotor disc, and each part comprises three polepieces 8, 10, 8 between which are interposed two respective ferrite magnets 12, 13. An adhesive holds the parts on to the frame 14 which is fixed to the meter body by a screwnut 16. High and low temperature compensators (18, 20), Fig. 2, are provided on the magnets 12, 13.
