Abstract

1292052 Battery operated warning lamp HILLS (PATENTS) Ltd 23 Jan 1970 [29 Jan 1969] 5067/69 Heading F4R [Also in Division E1] A portable road sign for children's crossings comprises a hollow plate 11 having opposed translucent faces (32, Fig. 2, not shown) mounted on a ring 30, the faces being illuminated internally by electric lamps 37 connected through a switch button 24 to batteries 19 in a tubular handle 10. The handle 10 is of metal, having an insulated top contact 20 and a bottom spring and contact wire 22-22a covered by a rubber cap 23.
