Abstract

1,048,528. Electric battery lamps. MEYER MANUFACTURING CO. Ltd. Sept. 9, 1965, No. 38567/65. Heading F4R. The lamp comprises a tubular casing 1 having bulbs 33, 37 mounted at opposite ends, the bulb 37 being connected to a flasher unit. An insulated former carrying the batteries is mounted in the casing and carries two switches 19 and 20 (not shown) passing through slots in the casing. A transistorized flashing device 35 is mounted on one end of the former for connection to the bulb 37. The lamp 33 passes through an opening in reflector 26. This end of the casing is closed by a window 2 and the opposite end by a cap 3 which may be translucent or transparent and is coloured red. A pivoted carrying handle 4 which may be extended to form a stand is mounted on the casing.
