Abstract

The lamp has an annular body of regular prismatic shape and hexagonal section (1), with a transparent or translucent opening at one end, behind which is the light source. There can be a tubular boss on either side of the body, running in the lengthwise direction. There can be openings at both ends of the body, one coloured orange and the other plain, with a lamp and parabolic reflector behind each. A battery supplies via a selector switch either the lamp behined the plain opening with continuous current, or that behind the orange one via a flip-flop electronic circuit to give a flashing light.
