Abstract

1,142,625. Electric battery lamps. G. A. GOESSLING, and A. H. MOORE. 23 May, 1966, No. 22944/66. Heading F4R. The lamp consists of a two-part casing, the parts 11, 12 being hinged at 13 and secured by a catch 14, 15, the front part 11 having an opening to receive a reflector having a receptacle 23 to hold the lamp bulb 30 in prefocused position and formed with a slot 25 to receive collar 28 on the bulb and spring fingers 26 to grip the base of the bulb, batteries being enclosed in the casing and a switch 43 for closing the circuit of the bulb being provided. The reflector may be of metallized plastics and has a rear opening 24 for illuminating a window 33 in the part 12, covered by an advertising disc 35 and a closure disc 36. The lamp has a handle which may be pivoted into position to form a supporting leg.
