Detaching from, and attaching to, permanent hubs; disk wheels.-Detachable wheels comprise a coned disk a flanged at e to carry a rim f and formed centrally with a U-shaped annular boss b to bear against the hub flange. The wheel is held on the hub by bolts and nuts d with spherical bases lying in spherical seating c formed in theboss b. A certain amount of clearance is provided between the inner part of the disk and the base g of the hub, and the right-hand wheel is secured by right-handed nuts, and the left-hanct wheel by left-handed nuts so that the consequent play between the parts will tend to tighten the nuts during the forward movement of the wheels.
