Abstract

101,508. Bellard, P. M. March 18, 1916. Disk wheels; detaching from and attaching to permanent hubs; double wheels arranged side by side.-The metal disk 1 is flanged to seat the type-carrying rim' 4 and is reinforced at the hub by a pair of plates 2, 3, the disk and the plates being flanged and seated at the hub as shown. The plates are recessed at 10, 12 to take driving-lugs 11, 14 on the flange 18 of the permanent hub 8 and on a collar 13, which has a driving - connexion with the hub 8 at 17 and is secured bv a nut 16. In a modification, the hub is extended to take twin-wheels.
