Detaching from, and attaching to, permanent hubs; disk wheels; double and multiple wheels arranged side by side. -Disk wheels of the type described in Specification 101,508 are detachably secured to the hub 8 by a ring of bolts 14 and nuts 13. The bolts are mounted in bosses 11 which are formed on the hub flange and engage recesses 10 in the rear reinforcing disk 2, the nuts 13 entering similar recesses 12 in the front plate 3. In the case of twin wheels, washers suitably shaped to engage the recesses in adjacent faces of the wheel hubs are threaded on the bolts.
