Detaching from, and attaching to, permanent hubs; hubs.-In wheels such as are described in Specification 26188/11, the axlebox e, which screws into the hub body comprising two side plates a, c with the spokes clamped between them, is locked by a tapered key f driven through a transverse hole in the boss c<2> of the plate c and engaged in an an. nular groove e' on the axle-box. The key is driven in in the direction which causes it to wedge more tightly owing to any tendency nf the axlebox to unscrew.
