Abstract

128,871. Carr Fastener Co., (Assignees of Carr, F. S.). Oct. 26, 1918, [Convention date]. Press-button fasteners. - A stud and socket fastener of the type in which the two parts are separated by tipping one relatively to the other comprises an apertured plate and a stud member 8 having a rigid shoulder 9 and a spring 10 housed within it and protruding through a slot 11. When the stud is engaged with the plate, the spring 10 presses the shoulder 9 against the side of the aperture and itself snaps over the opposite side of the aperture, being released therefrom when that side of the stud is tilted.
