Abstract

1286913 Reamers G KRESS [trading as MAPAL FABRIC FUR PRARISIONSWERKZEUGE DR KRESS KG] 8 April 1970 [25 April 1969] 16728/70 Heading B3C A reamer has at least one cutter blade 14 clamped between a flat surface on the reamer head 11 and the flat surface of a clamping claw 17 secured in the tool head by means of a screw 23, and the claw has a pin 19 projecting from a clamping head 18 which rests flush with a surface 20 of the tool head forming the wall of a chip chamber. The screw 23 has two threaded parts 22, 24 of opposite hand and has hexagonal recesses 26, 27 at each end. Two guide strips 15, 16 are mounted in the wall of the tool head. In a modification the clamping head is made eccentric with respect to the pin 19.
