Abstract

1284639 Pressurized dispensing containervalves COSTER TECHNOLOGIE SPECIALI S p A 10 Aug 1970 [21 Oct 1969] 38380/70 Heading F1R A valve for a pressurized dispensing container comprises a main body 1, a stem 5 and resiliently yieldable means 4, all integrally formed of resiliently deformable material, the body having a continuous peripheral wall and a base 2 with an orifice through which liquid may pass into the body. When mounted in a cap 10 of the container, the resilient means 4 comprising a plurality of arms e.g. four urge the stem against a seal 13, seated on the free edge of an annular shoulder R, so closing hole 8. On valve actuation liquid may flow up tube 14, through an orifice in a body base 2 and out through hole 8 and the stem bore. Longitudinal ribs 7 are provided on the inside of body 1. The resiliently deformable material may be of plastics and the stem, body and resiliently yieldable means may be formed by stamping and moulding.
