Abstract

127,303. Prideaux, W. de C. April 10, 1917. Cartridge belts.-Relates to belts formed of metal links of the kind described in Specifications 15828/15 and 125,631, and consists in forming the link in two pieces held together by a cartridge. In the construction shown, one half of the link, Fig. 2, made from a metal blank, is formed with a base B, cartridge clips G, H, and holed projections F. The other half, Fig. 4, also made from a metal blank, is formed with a base B, cartridge clip C, and pintles A. The two parts of the link are assembled, as shown in Fig. 5, by passing a cartridge through the clips G, C, H, a channel E being left between the pintles A to enable the bases B to fit together.
