Abstract

114,587. Wesson, J. H. April 3, 1917, [Convention date]. Ammunition receptacles. - Relates to revolver clips of the kind made from sheet metal arranged transversely to the cartridge, and consists in making them with separate or jointed segments so that they may be opened and stretched out fairly flat for carrying in a body belt. As shown in Fig. 3, one segment A is provided for each cartridge B (one segment is shown unloaded), and the segments are jointed by links f and secured in cylindrical formation by a spring fastener h. In modifications the clip comprises two semicircular segments, and the gap c for the cartridges opens outwards or inwards.
