445,232. Making chains. NISHIMURA, M., 5, 1-Chome, Tamade-Tatsumidori, Nishinariku, Osaka, Japan. Aug. 14, 1935, No. 22928. [Class 83 (ii)] Stud link chains are manufactured by forming a bar 1 with a central integral stud 2 and curved ends projecting beyond the stud, inserting the ends of the bar 1 into other links 4 of the chain, bending the ends of the bar so that they butt together upon the end face of the stud 2, and welding them to the stud and to each other. Specification 15848 /13, [Class 24], is referred to.
