Abstract
1,271,033. Fe-Cr-Ni alloy. SOC DES ACIERIES DU MANOIR POMPEY. July 30, 1970 [March 23, 1970], No.36944/70. Heading C7A. An alloy with good high temperature creep resistance, good corrosion resistance up to at least 1200C. and high resistance to carburization, comprises:- C 0À05-0À85% Cr 20-35% Mn 0À2-4% N 0À02-0À25% Ni 22-40% Nb 1-8% Si 0À2-3% W 0À3-4À5% and below 0À05% each of P and S, the balance, apart from impurities, being Fe. The alloys may be used for making parts of carburizing furnaces or petrochemical furnaces or ovens.
