Abstract

1,270,817. Knitting-machines. MECMOR S.p.A. 6 May, 1969 [6 May, 1968], No. 23133/ 69. Heading D1C. A yarn cutter for a stationary cylinder, cylinder and dial, machine comprises a radially movable blade 16 co-operating with a blade 12 mounted, and urged towards blade 16 tangentially of the cylinder. The blade 12 is slidable in a block 7 fixed to the dial at a gap in the needles and is urged by spring 14. Blade 16 is moved radially by a control arm 20 having a control butt 23, connected to it by a shim 18. Radial movement of a clamp blade 22 relative to fixed blade 25 is also derived from the control arm. Before the yarn is cut it is drawn under sprung clamping arms 28 by hooks.
