The subject-matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that of Specification 1, 268, 488, but the claims are concerned with a liquid-dispensing apparatus comprising a flow meter, a pump to deliver liquid through the meter, and at least one indicating device driven by the meter to provide an indication corresponding to or proportional to the quantity of fuel passing the meter, and control means including a source of fluid-pressure and a control valve controlling the supply of fluid-pressure to means for controlling the starting and stopping of the pump and to means for controlling the driving of the indicating device or devices.
