Abstract

[Also in Division G1] An hydraulic valve unit 13 (Fig. 2) determining the rate of flow of liquid to an hydraulic machine has a metering orifice 10 adjustable by an electric motor 11 through shaft 23, gear 24 and shaft 25. The unit includes a pressure compensating valve 29 with a spring-loaded spool 30, maintaining a constant pressure drop across the orifice. A feedback duct 35 compensates for changes in load or fluid supply pressure.
