A coaxial telecommunication cable comprises a filiform copper inner conductor 1 surrounded by polyolefine resin 2 and an outer conductor 3 made of copper or aluminium tape which is longitudinally seamed with overlapping edges 5, 6. A screening member 3<SP>1</SP> made of iron tape longitudinally seamed with overlapping edges 5<SP>1</SP>, 6<SP>1</SP> is applied directly on the conductor 3 and is surrounded by a tape 4 of paper, plastics, or heat shrinking plastics which may be selfadhesive.
