1,268,180. Rotary printing machines. POLYGRAPH LEIPZIG, KOMBINAT FUR POLYGRAPHISCHE MASCHINEN UND AUSRUSTUNGEN VEB. 23 Sept., 1970, No. 45316/70. Heading B6C. In a sheet fed rotary press having two printing units with a connecting transfer cylinder 2, the first impression cylinder 1 and the transfer cylinder 2 are so connected that on the operation of a selector switch the printed sheet leaving the first unit is fed to the transfer cylinder either front or rear edge first thus effecting either a second impression on the same sheet surface or a first impression on the opposite sheet surface during passage of the sheet through the second unit.
