Abstract

1,267,807. Building panels. W. H. WATTS. 19 June, 1969 [15 May, 1968], No. 23002/68. Heading E1B. A metal cladding panel of open ended box configuration is provided on its inner surfaces with a lining of fire proof material 16 and filled with an insulating material 17, one of the side walls being provided with corrugations which extend between the open ends of the panel. To secure adjacent panels together alternate panels are provided at opposite side edges with flanges 20 which overlap the outer faces of adjacent panels to which they are then secured by e.g. bolting. The panels may be disposed with the corrugations running vertically and supported by the side edges of adjacent panels (Fig. 2).
