Abstract

940,231. Building panels; panelled walls. KELSEY INDUSTRIES Ltd. Sept. 27. 1961 [Jan. 18, 1961], No. 2126/61. Headings E1B and EIV. A roofing panel comprises a rectangular aluminium frame 6 of hollow section which is closed on one face by aluminium sheet 10 ard on the other by two fire-resistant and heat insulating boards 16, 17. Tongues and grooves are formed on opposite edges and the panel, which may be filled with fibreglass, is strengthened by channel sectioned cross-struts 13. Adjacent panels are secured together with the aluminium sheet 10 overlapping the joint using screws 24 which carry bars 21 provided with sealing strips 23.
