Abstract

126,375. Arnott, J. Jan. 19, 1917 Ball and float valves.-A valve float F operates submerged in accordance with variations in the specific gravity of the liquid, such as acid. When the acid is of sufficient specific gravity the valve float F is raised and the acid runs off from the box A through the pipe D to the main E; when the gravity has fallen below a predetermined value, the float falls and seals the pipe D, and the liquid is then run off by the siphon E to the main H.
