Hydroplane vessels; floats for aerial machines. -The floats b of hydroplanes and flying- machines are formed as tanks for fuel, oil, &c., and are fitted with pipes r, m by which the air under pressure from a tank q is supplied and the fuel, oil, &c. is conveyed by means of this pressure to the motor or to a tank l. A three-way cock n is fitted on the discharge pipe so that the contents of float may be emptied into the air.
