Abstract
285,312. Letord, M. July 19, 1927. Direct gas pressure apparatus, non-automatic. -In an aeroplane &c. the petrol tank a may be emptied in case of fire &c. by a non-inflammable gas admitted from containers e by a pipe d to the top of the tank. The petrol may be discharged through a pipe g running from the bottom of the tank to the end of the fuselage. In another form, the pipe g is a siphon having the bend above the top of the tank.
