125,965. Etablissements de Dion-Bouton, Soc. Anon. April 19, 1918, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Valve-gear. - Sixteen cylinders are disposed four in each of four radial planes separated by 45 degrees. The cam-shafts are mounted above the cylinders which each have two inlet and two exhaust valves, each shaft being constructed in one piece, or in sections connected together by cardan joints, and supported in bearings x secured by pins 44 to a central tube 14 fixed to one of the cylinder heads by set-screws 15. The cam-shafts each carry a wheel 34 gearing with a wheel 35 on a shaft 31. One of these shafts carries (1) a wheel 27 which gears with a wheel (not shown) on the crank-shaft and (2) a wheel 28 for actuating the remaining shafts 31 through gear-wheels 28<1>. Loose connexions are provided in the auxiliary shafts 31 at 32, 33.
