Hand-grip sliding-jaw wrenches.-The movable jaw A is formed with a sleeve a<1> sliding upon the shank B of the fixed jaw C, and is operated by a lever G pivoted on the shank B and having a pin- and-slot connexion a, E with the jaw, a spring h attached to the lever G operating to open the jaws. As shown in Fig. 1, the lever G is pivoted by a removable screw pin g in any one of a series of holes b in the shank B. As shown in Fig. 6, the lever G is pivoted at g on a sleeve J movable along the shank B by a nut M engaging the screwed extension b<1> of the shank B.
